Witches get a lot of stick. But let me tell you — being a witch (or at least a little bit magical) has always been my superpower.

Growing up, I never quite fitted in. All the girls at school looked exactly the same: bleach blonde, long hair, sweeping fringes, and thick orange streaks of make-up. Meanwhile, I was rocking a short bright red pixie cut and wearing every colour of the rainbow — simultaneously. 🌈

Not fitting in probably explains why I hated school so much. But it also led me to one of the best things in my life — because it was at school that I met my husband Jordan, at the age of 15. By 18, we had our first baby, the beautiful Arabella. I always knew I didn't want to pay someone else to raise my children, and Jordan felt exactly the same. So he provided for us, and I got to be there — for every muddy football game, every first word, every moment that matters.

Two years later came Arlo. Two years after that, our third and final baby, Aria. Three little A's, and the whole world. 💛

In between the nappies, the school runs, and the sheer chaos of family life, I worked in a hair salon, a hospital, and as a community carer. I loved contributing, but missing sports days and Christmas plays? That broke my heart every single time.

So I looked for a way to work from home. I found network marketing, built a team of over 100 incredible women, and learned so much — but I was glued to my phone and in Zoom meetings more than I ever was in a day job. It wasn't the freedom I was looking for.

Then one day, I bought a few items to sell online, took a deep breath, hit the scary GO LIVE button… and Bootique Gifts was born. 🧙‍♀️
